The Junction – Gaming/Duty Manager
Located on Anzac Highway and part of the South Australian Jockey Club, The Junction is a flexible first-class venue – equipped and ready to cater for a variety of functions and events. With a number of function spaces the venue is able to cater for gatherings large and small and includes a Bistro, Sports Bar, multipurpose function room and a 40 machine gaming room.
We are seeking an experienced Gaming / Duty Manager who has experience in a similar venue.
Reporting to and supporting the Venue Manager, the Gaming/Duty Manager is responsible for the effective running of all gaming and service activities of their shift. The Gaming/Duty Manager acts in the best interest of the business in the Manager’s absence and ensures that our members, patrons, staff and stakeholders enjoy an exceptional experience every time they visit or deal with The Junction.
It is anticipated this will require approximately 25 – 30 hours a week on a casual basis with pay and conditions covered by the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020. This role includes day, evening, weekend and public holiday work, particularly Saturday Race-days. Shifts are rostered in advance as needed across 7 days.
