Located on the second floor of the main Grandstand at Morphettville Racecourse, enjoy stunning views of the entire racecourse and the Mounting Yard with the Adelaide Hills as a backdrop.

 

Your Restaurant 1873 Premium package includes:

Tables can be for no more than 4 guests.  Larger bookings would either need to be on separate tables, or in the Restaurant 1873 Standard area (not near the window).

General Admission at Morphettville

General Admission ticket holders are able to access several areas across the course.  These include our Diva Bar and Patio (subject to availability) which is a fantastic position to see the Mounting Yard pre race and then see the horses as they race to the finish line.  For elevated viewing the Heritage Grandstand is available and if you want to get to the running rail our Champagne Lawns area is also open.  Food and Beverages are available from the Diva Bar and Kitchen as well as various Food Trucks (subject to change)

Dress Code

Dress code: No tattered clothing, thongs, barefeet or offensive attire.

Concession Tickets

Concession tickets are available for purchase at the gates upon presentation of either a Commonwealth Concession Card or Department of Veterans Affair Card.  Concession Prices Do Not include Student Concession Card Holders.

Owners & Trainers

Each Owner named in the Race Book or Members of Syndicates with a share in a horse running on the day PLUS a guest will be entitled to free entry to Morphettville on the day that their horse is running.

SAJC Members

Members no longer need to register for race days. Instead you will need to bring your membership card on a race day to show the staff at the gate and on Level 2. If you do not have a valid membership card, please contact us to organise a replacement membership@sajc.com.au

SAJC Members are entitled to bring friends and family into the Level 2 Member’s Area by either using one of their MEMBER FOR A DAY single use cards or purchasing a MEMBER’S DAY PASS for each of their guests. The Member MUST accompany their guest(s) on the day. Member’s Day Passes can be purchased at the gate or by clicking on the link below.

COVID – 19 Measures

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND if you are unwell with symptoms (even if mild) – runny nose, sore throat, loss of smell, fever, tiredness, headache, aches and pains, diarrhoea, shortness of breath etc.

As part of the conditions of entry, SAJC has the right to refuse entry or service and insist that anyone with COVID-19 symptoms leaves the racecourse immediately.
