Four sure success for Guru Warrior
Guru Warrior won its fourth race in succession at Morphettville Parks on Saturday – giving trainer Andrew Gluyas an exciting future ahead.
Gluyas said after the success in the Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (Heat of Sports Skybeau Series) the four-year-old gelding might stay in SA, unlike some of the stable stars including Air Assault and Watchmewin who will go to Cranbourne next Saturday.

In a stark contrast from recent victories, where Guru Warrior veered off the track going down the straight, this time a gear change aided in the near two length success.
The victory gave the Gluyas runner a fifth win and two placings from the past 11 starts, increasing in distance from a win in September over 1950m to Saturday’s 2250m race.
Gluyas was also thrilled with Churchill Rose which chased the Phillip Stokes-trained Portarlington in the opening race over the day, the M & J Chickens Plate over 1000m.
Bootlegger caused a bit of an upset to edge out Whiskey Joe to take out a heat of the Sportsbet Rebel Raider series in the Quayclean Handicap over 1250m.
Jockey Caitlin Tootell rode a double, piloting Ginger Sinner and Shisuta Bo to success in consecutive races, while Isuspectjeu gave jockey Brooke King her second metro winner when taking out the Sportsbet Race Previews Handicap over 1550m.
Palm Of Jumeirah saluted the judge for the first time since March, winning the Sportsbet Race Replays Handicap (Heat of the Sportsbet Viddora Series) over 1250m, handing a winning double to Stokes and jockey Jacob Opperman.
Dual Pressure claimed the PFD Food Services Handicap (Heat of the Sportsbet Happy Trails Series) over 1550m, while Bristler claimed success in the Thomas Farms Handicap over 1000m, giving the six-year-old grey gelding its first win in 92 weeks.
