Harmonic Dancer comes off a very easy win on Melbourne Cup Day at this same track. His jockey Jacob Opperman is riding is outstanding form and the Phillip Stokes stable are sitting at the top of the Metropolitan Premiership Table.
Another barn in very good form is the Andrew Gluyas yard and Arugamama with Taylor Johnstone in the saddle provides them with the testing material in the Sportsbet Skybeau Series Final over 2500m.
It could easily be the Stokes and Opperman combination to the fore in the Sportsbet Gytrash Series Final over 1200m as well with the in-form Zoupurring chasing a hat-trick of wins.
The Sportsbet Happy Trails Series Final over 1600m then follows and Stirrup Cup is a good chance of providing young trainer Sarah Rutten with a significant training success.
Value wise on the nine-race card on Saturday is Punchin, who is a past winner of the Sportsbet Restricted Series Final over 1800m appeals with Kayla Crowther steering for trainer Gary Boyce.
