Cup insights at SAJC Members Trackwork Breakfast

Morphettville Racecourse welcomed SAJC Members and guests on Friday morning for the 2026 Sportsbet Adelaide Cup SAJC Members Trackwork Breakfast, offering racing fans an early glimpse ahead of Monday’s big race.

SAJC Members gathered in the Level 2 Members Area during morning trackwork while hearing from several prominent figures involved in this year’s Sportsbet Adelaide Cup.

Hosted by Racing.com’s Terry McAuliffe, former jockey Barend Vorster was among the special guests, sharing insights and stories from his distinguished riding career before attention turned to this year’s Sportsbet Adelaide Cup runners.

Jockey Teagan Voorham discussed her ride aboard Eventually, one of the contenders lining up in Monday’s staying feature, while trainer Chris Bieg spoke about Chance Taken, hoping to secure his first Sportsbet Adelaide Cup victory.

Trainer Kerrin Stokes outlined the chances of Highland Bling, one of the big chances in the race and will be ridden by jockey Lachlan Neindorf, then trainer Travis Doudle addressed attendees about Sentimental Flame, with Will Price booked to take the ride in the Cup.

The breakfast provided SAJC Members with a first-hand insights ahead of one of South Australia’s premier racing events.
