We have an outstanding 10-event card of racing in front of us on Saturday at Morphettville on the main track, with the rail out nine metres from the 1200 metre mark to the winning post and six metres for the remainder of the circuit.
Six of the races on the card are at Black Type level and a lot of horses will be staking their claims for runs in our four Group 1 events coming up during the Sportsbet Adelaide Racing Carnival, starting on Saturday, April 25.
In the first of the features on Saturday, the Sportsbet Without Fear Stakes (1050m) for the two-year-olds, bargain priced filly Never Ordinary will be looking to build on her terrific start to her career for trainer Byron Cozamanis and jockey Rochelle Milnes.

Next up in the Sportsbet Port Adelaide Guineas (1800m) the colts and geldings will be out to prove they are SA Derby material.
Meanwhile, the fillies will be showcasing their Sportsbet Australasian Oaks prospects in the Sportsbet Auraria Stakes (1800m).
Sandwiched in between the Sportsbet Port Adelaide Guineas (1800m) and the Sportsbet Port Adelaide Guineas (1800m) are the Sportsbet City of Adelaide Handicap (1529m), a brilliant edition of the Sportsbet Redelva Stakes (1100m) and the Sportsbet R N Irwin Stakes (1100m).
My Racing.com offsider John Kelton has made his best bet on the program Lady Thinkabell in the opener, The Fotobase Group Handicap (2535m) for trainers John Symons and Sheila Laxon.
I’m going to stick with Never Ordinary to get the job done again in the Sportsbet Without Fear Stakes (1050m).
I will also be cheering hard for Watchme Win in the Sportsbet R N Irwin Stakes (1100m), a horse I have an interest in and I was pleased to know John was tipping him as well.
What a great day of racing it is set to be, and I can’t wait to get trackside at Morphettville this weekend.
