Terry’s Tips – July 11

10 July 2026

On Saturday we go racing on the Parks circuit for a nine-event card commencing at 11:42am with the track sure to be at best in the soft 6/7 range.

The rail will be out nine metres from the 1000 metre mark to the winning post and then six metres for the remainder of the circuit.

Two Murray Bridge gallopers appeal to me on the program in Word Game and Reciprocal.

Word Game lines up in Race 2, the Canadian Club Maiden Plate (1250m), backing up from a good second placing at its home track last weekend. Jason Holder retains the ride for the Sarah Rutten stable, and the filly is certainly bursting to break her maiden status.

Reciprocal lines up in Race 7, the M&J Chickens Handicap (2294m) and is coming off a last start success at Balaklava. Harry Grace was aboard that day and has the responsibility again on Saturday for the Mick Huxtable yard.

Huxtable has made it known he will not be renewing his Trainer’s Licence beyond this season. It will be fantastic to see the outstanding veteran horseman with another Morphettville win.

Interstate at Caulfield on Saturday there is plenty of local interest.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly produce the first of the South Aussies when Dancing Storm fronts up in Race 2, the Sportsbet Fast Form Handicap (1100m).

Next up in Race 3, the Sportsbet Jockey Watch Handicap (1400m) the inform Like A Drifter appears for the Dan Clarken and Oopy MacGillivray and on board will be stable apprentice Tala Hutchinson.

The same combination also has another horse racing well Orlova engaged in Race 6, the Sportsbet Feed Handicap (2000m).

Before that in Race 5, the Sportsbet BlackBook Handicap (2000m) Sarah Rutten lines up last start winner Stirrup Cup.

The feature sprint event at Caulfield the Group 3 Sportsbet Sir John Monash Stakes (1100m) will see three S.A. Gallopers in action.

Richard and Chantelle Jolly send out KlabelAndrew Gluyas Watchme Win and Darryl Hewitt Sir Now.

Hewitt also has Snoopy Now in the final race of the day the Sportsbet Same Race Multi Handicap (1700m), and he will be joined by the Matt Seyers prepared Test The Law.

Let’s hope for plenty of luck for our horses at Caulfield.

Enjoy your day and all the best

Terry
