Roving Fashions make Spring debut
Fashion will have a fresh focus at Morphettville across Victoria Derby Day and Melbourne Cup Day, with an exciting new initiative set to captivate racegoers from the moment the gates open.
Morphettville Racecourse has partnered with Eli Moulton, founder of Plus One Dress Hire, to launch Roving Fashions — a fresh, interactive showcase celebrating style, creativity, and the excitement of race-day fashion.
Moulton said it’s been wonderful to partner with Morphettville, creating an experience that blends the thrill of racing with the glamour of fashion.
“It’s about creating a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere where everyone — whether they’re trackside regulars or first-time attendees — can feel confident, stylish, and part of the tradition that makes race days so special,” Moulton said.
“With Roving Fashions, we’re bringing the runway to the racecourse. It’s about highlighting real people, real style, and showing how creative and vibrant South Australian fashion truly is.”

Morphettville CEO Grant Mayer said the collaboration with Moulton and Plus One Dress Hire was designed to revitalise the fashion experience throughout the entire race day.
“Fashion has always been an integral element of the racing tradition, and we’re committed to celebrating that heritage,” Mayer said.
“The introduction of Roving Fashions on Victoria Derby Day and Cup Day will engage a new audience and reignite the excitement of dressing up for a day at the races.”
Throughout the day, Moulton will rove around Morphettville, speaking with racegoers about their outfits, style inspiration, and race-day favourites.
“I’ll be chatting with guests, discovering their outfit inspiration, and sharing style moments throughout the day. It’s a fun, interactive way to celebrate the fashion that makes race days so special,” Moulton said.
The Roving Fashions showcase will take place from gates open until 2pm on both Victoria Derby Day and Melbourne Cup Day, bringing an extra touch of glamour and engagement to Morphettville’s spring racing calendar.
