Cups set to visit Morphettville
Morphettville will play host to one of the most rare and anticipated racing experiences this Saturday when the 2025 Caulfield Cup and 2025 Melbourne Cup visit for an exclusive one-day tour.
For just the 13th time in Australian racing history, Half Yours secured the prestigious Caulfield Cup–Melbourne Cup double in 2025.
With a proud connection to South Australia, Half Yours was ridden by Jamie Melham and trained by the renowned Tony McEvoy and Calvin McEvoy.

One of the owners of Half Yours, Gavan Fox, will be bringing the Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup to Morphettville and this event offers SAJC Members, Owners, Trainers and racegoers a rare chance to get up close with the Cups that define greatness.
The day begins as gates open at 11.30am, when Fox arrives on course with the famous trophies and will be escorted to The Winning Post Restaurant by a Lexus, a striking motorcade as they travel to the Betting Ring.
At 12pm, the Cups make their way to Level 2 Members Area, where they will be for the first official viewing. SAJC Members are invited to enjoy an exclusive photo opportunity from 12.05pm, followed by an insightful Q&A session at 12.45pm with Gavan Fox hosted by racing expert Terry McAuliffe.
This discussion offers a personal glimpse and a behind the scenes insight into how Half Yours stole the heart of a nation.
Further photo sessions continue until 1pm, before the Cups begin their next journey to the Members Reserve & Owners and Trainer Room (Leilani Room) on Level 1, with photo opportunities from 1.35pm to 2.15pm.
The final stop of the tour takes place in the General Admission Betting Ring, where the Cups will be displayed from 2.30pm to approximately 3.30pm, giving racegoers their chance to experience these legendary pieces of racing history.
