Morphettville Racecourse is proud to announce a new charity partnership with the Riding for the Disabled Association of South Australia (RDASA) as part of the 2026 Sportsbet Adelaide Racing Carnival.
Deeply aligned through a shared connection to the equine industry, the partnership brings together two organisations united by a passion for horses and a commitment to creating positive community impact.
As part of the partnership, RDASA will have a strong on-course presence across two of the Carnival’s premier race days — SA Derby Day and Sportsbet Goodwood Day.
Patrons will have the opportunity to support the organisation through entry gate fundraising, pop-up activations, roaming collectors, and the purchase of merchandise, including RDASA pins. Raffle ticket sales will also be available, with Morphettville contributing exclusive prizes.
Newly announced 2026 ambassador Clare Lindop brings a deep affinity with horses, community and the values of the organisation.
“This role aligns my passion for careers with my love of horses, while highlighting the impact of volunteers and the important role horses, and retired racehorses play in supporting Riding for the Disabled participants and creating fun opportunities for learning and connection,” Lindop said.

The new partnership will extend beyond the Carnival, with RDASA set to host its annual Gala Dinner at the Wolf Blass Event Centre this August.
Funds raised throughout the Carnival will directly support RDASA’s vital work, including centre operations, horse care, facility maintenance, and expanding capacity to reach more South Australians living with disability.
For more than 50 years, RDASA has delivered inclusive, horse-assisted programs across South Australia, supporting people living with disability to build strength, confidence, develop life skills, and enhance overall wellbeing.
Operating from eight centres statewide, RDASA supports hundreds of participants each year through the dedication of a small team of staff and a large, committed volunteer base. Their programs create meaningful outcomes — from increased independence and physical development to improved social connection and emotional wellbeing — making a lasting difference for participants and their families.
This partnership reflects Morphettville’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and the powerful role the industry can play in supporting inclusive, life-changing initiatives.
