The 2026 Spring Racing Carnival is certainly warming up with three Group 1s at Caulfield on Saturday the highlight of racing around the country.
Locally at Morphettville we are on the main track for Caulfield Guineas Day with the rail out six metres for the entire circuit on a surface certain to be in the good range.
My standout top pick on the card is the Richard and Chantelle Jolly prepared Bred Em’ All, which fronts up on the final event of the nine-race card, the Quayclean Handicap (1050m).
A winner of two of his three starts, he is a horse that the stable has a big opinion of, and no doubt they will have a Melbourne campaign very much on their minds.

Value wise I am certainly interested in Silvaloa in Race 5, the Aceit Transport Solutions Handicap (1522m), a recent acquisition to the Stephen Theodore barn, although I have a healthy respect for my Racing.com teammate John Kelton and his horse Uptown Monk.
The Theodore stable will also saddle up one of the better backed runners on the day in Maldini in Race 8, the Sportsbet Feed Handicap (1522m).
Great to see Caitlin Jones back race riding on Saturday after being out since April and we wish her well with her rides on the weekend.
It is set to be an exciting day of racing on Saturday and if you can’t make it to Morphettville, please make sure you tune in to all of the action on Racing.com.
