Receptionist & Sales Team Assistant

The Reception & Sales Assistant is the first point of contact for all Morphettville staff and customers via telephone or face to face. As such it is essential that the individual in this role is pleasant, courteous, highly professional, and able to interact with a wide and diverse consumer group.

The incumbent will have the ability to deliver friendly, welcoming, high-quality, and efficient service to clients and members, supporting the sales team with bookings, enquiries, and managing all related activities effectively.

Assistant Venue Manager - The Junction

Creating memorable and exceptional experiences for our members, patrons and staff is priority at The Junction. Some say it, but we live it. With this mindset, and a marketing and sales team behind you, this role will grow our functions and events business.

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you will have proven operational experience in all facets of venue management, including (but not limited to):

  • Day-to-day running of a venue including opening / closing of the venues Sports Bar, Bistro and Gaming, cash balancing, stock control and rostering
  • Hands on food & bar service across gaming, sports bar, functions, and bistro service
  • Leading, managing, and empowering staff with training

Casual Duty Manager - The Junction

We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and reliable Casual Duty Managers to join our team. You will need to be customer focused and committed to always providing an exceptional experience for our members, patrons, and staff. The incumbent must be available to work between 25 – 30 hours per week across both gaming and duty manager shifts.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing operations to ensure smooth service throughout duration of shift.
  • Exceptional demonstration of customer service.
  • Potential Opening / closing of the venues Sports Bar, Bistro and Gaming
  • Hands on food & bar service across gaming, sports bar, functions, and bistro service
  • Compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain high standards.

Casual Food & Beverage Attendants

With the Autumn Racing Carnival and the opening of our newly refurbished restaurant and members area just around the corner, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Food and Beverage Attendants to join our team in a casual capacity.

There are a variety of casual positions available in a wide variety of positions, perfect for someone looking for supplementary work OR an established food & beverage superstar looking to grow their hospitality career:

  • Week-day functions, conferences & events
