Morphettville Racecourse will host the second annual Cystic Fibrosis Race Day Luncheon at the Wolf Blass Event Centre this Saturday, May 30, bringing the racing community together in support of those living with cystic fibrosis.
Founded by Emmah Doudle, wife of leading trainer Travis Doudle, the luncheon has quickly become a meaningful event on the South Australian racing calendar, raising both awareness and vital funds for the cystic fibrosis community.
For Doudle, the cause is deeply personal.
Living with Cystic Fibrosis herself, Doudle said the event was created to not only raise funds but also shine a light on the realities of living with the condition while creating hope for others impacted by it.

“I have been fundraising for cystic fibrosis for as long as I can remember. As someone living with cystic fibrosis myself, this cause is incredibly personal to Travis and I. I wanted to create an event that could bring the racing community together for an important cause,” Doudle said.
“The support from Morphettville and the racing industry has been incredible, and it’s been so special to see people come together to support something that means so much to me and so many other families.
“At the heart of it, I want to provide hope to others to show that even through the challenges, community, connection and support can make a real difference.”
With a fundraising target of $65,000 in recognition of ‘65 Roses’ a term affectionately associated with cystic fibrosis the luncheon aims to make a tangible impact while delivering an unforgettable raceday experience filled with entertainment, fundraising initiatives and community spirit. All proceeds are going to Cystic Fibrosis South Australia.
Limited tickets remain available for the event and can be purchased via Humanitix.
