After a weeks’ rest at Morphettville, we return for a nine-race card on Saturday with action on the main track.
The rail is out for 11 metres for the entire circuit, and the track is certain to be in at least the soft range.
Two horses that stand out on the day are Miss Chevalier in Race 2, the Winning Edge Presentations Maiden Plate (1050m) and Royal Sway in Race 8, the Sportsbet Feed Handicap (1600m).

Miss Chevalier from the Will Clarken yard was very good on debut when runner-up to the talented Bred ‘Em All on Sportsbet Goodwood Day. Back to maiden grade she appears incredibly hard to beat.
Royal Sway for Sue and Jason Jaensch bolted in its last start to win on a fortnight ago and on a soft track, a repeat performance should see her winning again.
Value wise on the day I do think Cool The Jets in Race 5, the Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1100m) and both Maxildo and Nicajon in the last event of the day, the Thomas Farms Handicap (1600m), can run cheeky races.
Good luck to former Chairman at Morphettville Bob Holton, who is celebrating his 80th birthday at the track on Saturday and also to Emmah Doudle with her big Cystic Fibrosis Race Day Luncheon at the Wolf Blass Event Centre.
