Wolf Blass ‘The Man’ Morphettville Event Centre Update
Since breaking ground in late 2022, Morphettville’s new Event Centre has already reached a number of milestones, including the naming rights partnership with Wolf Blass AM in early 2023.
With uninterrupted views of the racecourse and the picturesque Adelaide Hills, the Wolf Blass ‘The Man’ Event Centre is on track to become South-Western Adelaide’s premier hospitality and events destination. can accommodate up 1,150 people across both floors.
Morphettville CEO, Grant Mayer is excited by the conversations created from the early stages of the construction.
“It’s great to see the extended Morphettville community engaging with the process, and looking forward to being a part of the direction we are going.
“We are seeing plenty of expressions of interest coming in regarding future bookings, which again, highlights the need for a premier events and conference space in the south-west,” he said.
Over the coming weeks, the Event Centre will take on noticeable changes as the builders commence works on the roof and external fittings.
Kym Collins, Kennett Builders Site Manager said everything was running well and it is great to see the Event Centre coming to life.
“We have completed all works related to structural steel and concrete, and on the ground floor painting and amenities works will now commence.
“Over the next two to three weeks we will see the 26m long roof sheets be delivered and installed also,” he said.
Within the weeks following installation of the roof sheets, floor-to-ceiling window frames and impressive 6-metre-high glass panels will be fixed into place; reaching another significant project milestone.
