Race Meeting Postponed – Saturday, January 24

The Morphettville race meeting scheduled for Saturday, January 24 has been postponed, and the venue will be closed.

Following the latest advice from the Bureau of Meteorology, forecast temperatures for the Morphettville area are now expected to reach 40°C shortly after midday, peaking at approximately 43°C, with extreme heat conditions continuing into the evening.

In light of these conditions, the decision has been made to postpone the race meeting to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patrons and staff, as well as animal welfare.

We understand this will be disappointing and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. We thank you for your understanding and encourage everyone to take care in the extreme heat.

Further information regarding rescheduled race dates and ticket arrangements will be shared as soon as possible.
