Winning form continues for Ramasis

16 March 2026

Ramasis made it two wins from the past three starts after victory in the Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1400m) at Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

The promising three-year-old showed a lot of fight down the straight to fend off Scandalise and Thermodynamic in the run to the winning post.

Trainer Travis Doudle said he like what he saw from Ramasis but will not be rushing into any interstate plans and could eye a run during the Sportsbet Adelaide Racing Carnival.

Earlier in the day, Doudle saddled up two runners in the M&J Chickens Handicap (1300m) and it was Oak Park Maddison which finished strongly under the guidance of jockey Caitlin Tootell to win impressively, holding out the early leader Kalmana and Light the Night.

Sicilian Princess broke through for its first win in 10 starts with victory in the Sportsbet Same Race Multi Maiden Plate (1400m). The Richard and Chantelle Jolly-trained runner led by jockey Taylor Johnstone, raced home to hold off Jumbo Jet and Innominate.
