On Saturday we go racing on the Morphettville Parks circuit with a nine-event card which will be run a Heavy surface after a wet week in South Australia.
Finding mudlarks is what I am looking for this weekend, and my partner John Kelton at Racing.com obviously has similar thoughts, with his best bet on the day being Lingani in Race 8, the Sportsbet More Places Handicap (1250m).
The Peter and Belinda Blanch prepared five-year-old mare is unbeaten on Heavy ground.
I have made the visitor from the Henry Dwyer stable Wuddzz in Race 4, the Sportsbet Same Race Multi Handicap (2400m), my number one top selection for the program, and he too is super effective on the ground he will get on Saturday.

Three runners at good odds I feel can run well on the testing track they will encounter on the Parks circuit are Howl in Race 5, the Croser Handicap (1000m), Willybeafactor in Race 6, the Sportsbet Fast Form Handicap (1400m) and Here Comes Hogan in the last of the day, the Hahn Handicap (1000m).
With Howl, he is winless since November 2024, but I like the booking of jockey Connor Murtagh by trainer Tracy Cox.
Willybeafactor for trainer George Dimitropolous is an 11-time a winner on wet ground, so he is going to love the Heavy track.
Here Comes Hogan is a last start winner on similar ground at Horsham in its maiden outing for the Ron Daniel and Trish Stanbury yard.
All the best if you have a runner and enjoy your long weekend everyone.
