2023 Caulfield Cup – What to Expect
With strong race day numbers both on and off the track, and an unbeatable spring-is-in-the-air vibe, the 2023 Spring Racing Carnival at Morphettville is off to a strong start. And we look to continuing the racing and party action this Saturday on Caulfield Cup Race Day
“Spring racing is synonymous with some of the most thrilling days on the Australian racing calendar, from Everest Day to the race that stops the nation, Melbourne Cup Day,” Morphettville CEO Grant Mayer said.
“At Morphettville, our Spring Racing Carnival experience is packed with the thrill of local race cards to complement this interstate action, as well as an unbeatable off-track atmosphere unique to this much-anticipated time of year.
“Each of the five remaining race days will offer event lovers something different, while also creating a buzz that builds across back-to-back weekends. It’s such a fantastic time of year to be at Morphettville,” he said.
From premium champagne to chocolate covered strawberries, take in the finer things of racing as we witness the richest turf handicap race in the world from Caulfield trackside at Morphettville.
There are a number of activations (including a 360 photo booth) for general admission across the day. And for those who enjoy a premium dining experience, you can take your seat in the Winning Post Restaurant to enjoy a meticulously curated menu highlighting South Australia’s best produce from our award-winning Executive Chef.
If all-inclusive is more your vibe, a package in the CC Giddy Up Club trackside is likely the place for you. Located on home straight a stone’s throw from the finishing post, you will have a premium view of the racing action as fields thunder past, all with the convenience of food options, dedicated CC bar, and DJ within this ticketed marquee.
