Lucky’s Beach Club Goes West

Adelaide’s favourite pop-up bar and eatery, Lucky’s Beach Club, is moving to a new home this summer.

Previously held at The Maid Hotel in Magill for four years since 2015, the Hamptons style beach club will relocate to Morphettville Racecourse, bringing their much-loved concept to the iconic Anzac Highway destination.

Launching on Saturday, 5th October 2019, Lucky’s Beach Club will run every race day throughout the AAMI Spring Racing Carnival 2019 and then every Saturday from November 9 until the Twilight Races on December 20.

“Due to renovations at The Maid Hotel across the summer period, we had the opportunity to bring the Lucky’s concept to Morphettville Racecourse as part of the AAMI Spring Racing Carnival and beyond,” says Morphettville Racecourse Marketing Manager, Luke Schapel.

“It is an exciting activation for us and for our racegoers. People can expect the same vibe and offering as previous years, in a new and central location.”

On race days, there will be private booth packages available as well as general admission options. Punters will enjoy local entertainment, a premium beverage and cocktail list and exciting food options.

Lucky’s Beach Club is just one of many new activations and marquee options for the AAMI Spring Racing Carnival this year.

“After a sold-out season last year, we will be bringing back the AAMI VIP marquee – bigger and better than before with exclusive packages which allow access to both Lucky’s Beach Club and the AAMI VIP Marquee,” says Luke Schapel.

“Also, for the first time, Porsche will be activating on AAMI Melbourne Cup Day – the only way to truly understand the opulence of this marquee is to experience it yourself! The Porsche marquee is unlike any precinct we’ve ever had on course previously.”

Post AAMI Spring Racing Carnival, Lucky’s Beach Club will operate from 12pm – 9pm on Saturdays, over a larger footprint offering more capacity for both general admission and private booth options.
