Morphettville claims Gold at Nationals
Morphettville Racecourse has been awarded the Gold as Australia’s Best Event / Convention Centre Caterer at the 2025 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence, held on Monday evening at Doltone House, Darling Island in Sydney.
Following Morphettville’s success at the South Australian Awards in August — where we were named Caterer of the Year and Event / Convention Centre Caterer of the Year — this national accolade represents a significant achievement and recognition of the exceptional quality and consistency delivered by our catering and events team.
Morphettville CEO Grant Mayer said the national award highlights Morphettville’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
“This achievement is a true reflection of the hard work, talent, and passion of our entire team,” Mayer said.

The Event / Convention Centre Caterer of the Year award, sponsored by Bidfood Australia, saw Morphettville honoured among outstanding national finalists, including Regional City Beach Function Centre (Wollongong), Sydney Oatlands Estate by Navarra, The Kyle Bay on Georges River, and San Remo Ballroom (Carlton North).
This recognition is a testament to the dedication, creativity, and professionalism of our team, who continually strive to deliver premium dining and event experiences for our clients and guests.
