On Monday we look forward to an outstanding day of racing on Sportsbet Adelaide Cup Day.
Nine events are scheduled with three other black type races part of the support program.
In the opener the, Winning Edge Presentations Handicap, Will Clarken will unleash his exciting three-year-old Mathematician, a recent brilliant debut winner.
Jamie Melham has been booked to partner the son of Lucky Vega who looks set to get favourite backers off to a flying start.

Sportsbet Adelaide Cup Day will see the four feature races staged at the back end of the card.
It will be the sprinters doing battle first in Race 6, the Listed Thomas Farms Manihi Classic over 1100 metres.
Will Clarken remarkably will saddle up four of the 10 runners in what is a terrific edition of the Manihi.
The Sportsbet Adelaide Cup will follow and although drawing poorly in gate 17, I am sticking with the Phillip Stokes-prepared Highland Bling.
Lachlan Neindorf with his third Cup ride will guide Highland Bling and will need to produce a bit of magic from out there.
Good luck to all involved in the Sportsbet Adelaide Cup and I am sure whoever wins there will be a nice story attached.
After the Sportsbet Adelaide Cup it is the Listed Fotobase Group Morphettville Guineas to be run over 1600 metres for the three-year-olds.
There is strong representation form interstate and is going to be an interesting affair.
We finish the day with the Listed Quayclean CS Hayes Memorial Cup also at 1600 metres.
A Samurai Mind finished third in the 2025 CS Hayes won by Elphinstone for Tony McEvoy and Calvin McEvoy and Jamie Melham and I am sure he will run well again.
His run first up since some throat surgery was an encouraging fourth in the Listed City of Marion Stakes behind Power Beau.
Lachlan Neindorf knows the horse well and in another nice race he is my pick in the last.
With beautiful weather forecast, a bumper crowd is set to pour into Morphettville.
If you can’t make it to the track make sure you tune into John Kelton and I on Racing.com
