Terry’s Tips – June 27

Saturday, we go racing on the Morphettville Parks circuit with the rail out six metres from the 1000 metre mark to the winning post and three metres for the remainder of the course.

Rating wise with the dry, albeit cold weather, this week the track should be no worse than a soft 6.

I thought the lightly raced Tobikko for the powerful Phillip Stokes yard in Race 8, the Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap (1000m) with Harry Grace to ride would be the best on the program.

He will just need luck to go his way from the inside barrier.

My Racing.com offsider John Kelton has made his standout selection the visitor for Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr in Race 6, the SAJC Membership Now Open Handicap (1300m) with Undisputable looking the goods with Zac Spain aboard.

Two others I feel can run well early in the day are the veteran Willybeafactor in Race 2, the Sportsbet Blackbook Handicap (1568m) for George Dimitropoulos and Stacey Metcalfe and then in the following event, the PFD Food Services Handicap (1973m) another Harry Grace mount Stirrup Cup for trainer Sarah Rutten.
